Why Our Future Is In Good Hands

"Ideas can spark a movement. Ideas can spark opportunities and innovation."

This, from enterprising 13-year-old wondergirl Maya Penn, who at the tender age of eight, launched her own business, Maya's Ideas for the Planet. Soon after her mother taught her how to sew, Maya was on her way to creating an eco-friendly line of clothing and accessories. She was even featured in Forbes Magazine as a grade-school entrepreneur. Now she's got customers from all over the world supporting her business -- and her ultimate goal of taking care of the environment. Listen to her inspiring talk at the recent TEDWomen Conference and learn how this budding entrepreneur is going to help save the planet. If Maya is representative of her generation, our future is in good hands.
