At long last ... the Republican National Convention is upon us.

After a rocky first day, including a suppressed party rebellion and a Melania Trump speech that sounded suspiciously similar to an 8-year-old address by Michelle Obama  -- Republican delegates formally nominated Donald Trump for president.

And so it begins.
