Peter Cavagnaro is the Director of Communications and External Affairs at KQED, where he has served since 2016. Over that period he has served in a number audience facing capacities that incorporate public relations, marketing, internal communications, event management and government relations. He previously worked at the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, where he oversaw public relations and social media for the museum for seven years, and led communications around the institution's downtown building project. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and lives in Berkeley with his wife, daughter, and adorable King Charles Cavalier spaniel.
