Zoboo takes that inspiration a step further when he paints spots on Martin and stripes on Chris while they're both asleep. Zoboo paints himself with spots and stripes, and the gang learns about being a camouflaged creature. 7:00 amSesame Street [#4325H] Porridge Art Baby Bear is excited to learn that his favorite porridge brand "Quaker Porridge" is holding a Porridge Art Contest, where contestants create edible art of the Quaker Duck Man that's made of porridge. Alan mixes up a batch of porridge, Baby Bear runs off to get is art supplies, and Telly volunteers to pose as the Quaker Duck Man. First, Baby Bear gets inspiration to paint with porridge, but when the picture is placed upright on the easel, the mushy porridge slides right off the canvas. Baby Bear needs some brain food to help him figure out what to do next and returns to eating his porridge which is now thick and pasty. Alan explains that's what happens to porridge when it's left out too long. Baby Bear is inspired again! This time he sticks nuts and berries to the thick porridge to create a mosaic picture. But when everyone is distracted, animals come over and eat Baby Bear's art. Alan reassures him that they can try something else and just then, Baby Bear is inspired once more. He decides to cover Telly with the thick porridge, creating a statue. Alan explains that this is cheating and Baby Bear understands. He tries to take the porridge off of Telly, but it stiffens even more. Alan tells Baby Bear that the longer porridge is left out, the drier and harder it becomes, just like his breakfast did. One last inspiration! Baby Bear makes his own sculpture out of porridge, and he wins the contest! Educational Objective: The importance of not hiding who you really are. Caillou's Glasses: When Mommy gets a new pair of specs, Caillou wants glasses too. He pretends he has bad vision, tries to make a pair out of pipe cleaner, and even borrows an old pair of Mommy's glasses (minus the lenses). When Caillou tapes 'pretend lenses' to the frames - and can't see where he's going around the house - he finally realizes the importance of having good vision. Educational Objective: The importance of good vision - with or without glasses. Caillou's Dance Party: Miss Martin is throwing a dance party. Caillou is excited, only...he doesn't know how to dance! Caillou elicits advice from various family members, and feels more confused than ever when they each show him a different way to dance. When Caillou sees Miss Martin dancing any ol' (silly) way she wants, Caillou realizes it's more important to have fun than to worry about dance steps and styles. Steve and Betsy blindfold George and give him the first shot at breaking open the birthday pinata - but when George swings the bat without any sense of where he's aiming, he makes a grand mess instead. To help George improve his game, Steve blindfolds George and sets him off to try and find Charkie - and George navigates his way around the city by using only his hands, ears and sense of touch. His adventure leads him to some familiar places and ultimately back to the sweet pinata prize!
