    Live from the Artists Den [#904H] Damien Rice Irish singer-songwriter Damien Rice first achieved international success with the release of his debut album O in 2002. The album spent 10 weeks on the Billboard 200 charts and 80 weeks in the UK Top 75 album chart, and sold over 2 million copies worldwide. In 2004, Rice was nominated for both a BRIT Award and an NME Award, while in the United States, he became the first UK-signed artist ever to be awarded the prestigious Shortlist Music Prize. His sophomore record, 9, was equally critically acclaimed. In 2007, Damien was nominated for Best International Male at the BRIT Awards and also played a sold-out arena tour. His first collection of new material in eight years, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, will be released globally on November 10, 2014.     Father Brown [#160H] The Penitent Man Flambeau (John Light) is incarcerated under suspicion of murder. Flynn's wife Peggy (Emma Pallant) later tells Father Brown that she witnessed Flambeau dragging Flynn's body to the river and throwing it in. At the presbytery, Mrs McCarthy (Sorcha Cusack) thinks that Flynn is still alive and has framed Flambeau. Father Brown leaves the surveillance to her and Bunty (Emer Kenny) while he attends Flambeau's pre-trial hearing. He's shocked to hear Flambeau plead guilty then be sentenced to death by hanging. Meanwhile, Bunty and Mrs McCarthy spy Flynn through the window at Peggy's house and manage to escape after they're seen.       *UPDATE: The tower crew will work the Fremont peak tower as of 11am, Thursday, Nov 30th. We will need to lower power on KQET, Channel 25, to 25% at 10:30am through 4-5pm. Thank you for your patience!

      Next week, Sutro Tower will be switching most stations to their auxiliary antennas. KQED TV will be at half power on the lower auxiliary antenna, this will affect some of our Over The Air viewers. Maintenance is scheduled on August 21-25 from 9am through 4pm daily.       (DT25.1 through 25.3) Recent storms have taken out dozens of trees on Fremont Peak, which in turn have taken down power lines leading to the transmission tower located on the peak.
