Speeding along, Toby and Rheneas whoosh straight past some perfect Christmas trees. Rheneas realizes that he has been silly to rush. If they slow down, they can find the perfect tree. With the help of the Logging Locos, Toby and Rheneas take back the best tree of all to Rheneas' Narrow Gauge friends! Ho Ho Snowman - It's winter time in Sodor and Charlie wants to show Henry that snow is fun, so Charlie decides to hide behind a snowman. Each time Henry puffs past, Charlie pretends to be the snowman and tells Henry a joke. Henry is scared and steams quickly away back to Tidmouth Sheds. Charlie is sorry that he made Henry scared. He realizes that not everyone likes the snow. Charlie sees what it is that makes Henry happy in the snow: quiet, natural things.     * A Howling Good Time - Nick and Sally are pretending to be lost adventurers when Sally wonders what to do if you really do get lost. The Cat in the Hat knows a wolf pup who knows all about getting lost and found! In the Hooty Howly Woods Grayson shows them how wolves howl to communicate and to find each other. Now Sally and Nick know one thing to do if they get lost - howl for mom!

[#109H] A Kid's Guide to Mars/Jet 2 "A Kid's Guide to Mars" - Celery and Carrot need to update their guidebook about Mars, and the kids join them on a trip to see how much things have changed on Mars in the last four billion years. Curriculum: Mars was once (4 billion years ago) a lot like Earth, with oceans, clouds and drinkable water. Something happened 3.7 billion years ago that turned Mars' atmosphere from warm and wet to dry and cold.
    "Jet 2" - Jet builds a robot version of himself, so that he can be in "two places at once!" But Jet learns what jealousy is when the other kids seem to be having more fun with Jet 2 than they are with him! Curriculum: A robot is an automatic mechanical device often resembling a human or animal. Humans build robots to perform the tasks humans can't do, but people are still in control because they give instructions to the robots.

      *UPDATE: The tower crew will work the Fremont peak tower as of 11am, Thursday, Nov 30th. We will need to lower power on KQET, Channel 25, to 25% at 10:30am through 4-5pm. Thank you for your patience!

    • Scheduled Maintenance 8/21-8/25

      Next week, Sutro Tower will be switching most stations to their auxiliary antennas. KQED TV will be at half power on the lower auxiliary antenna, this will affect some of our Over The Air viewers. Maintenance is scheduled on August 21-25 from 9am through 4pm daily.       (DT25.1 through 25.3) Recent storms have taken out dozens of trees on Fremont Peak, which in turn have taken down power lines leading to the transmission tower located on the peak.
