She spent 2 years as a staff writer at VentureBeat reporting on the startup scene, as well as issues relating to social innovation and diversity in the tech industry. Before Venturebeat, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer, conducting an education project in rural Thailand. She has a B.A. from Cornell University.
