No Rest on Holidays For the Pet Care Business
Thanksgiving's a holiday for most people, but for those who ARE at work, it can be one of the busiest days of the year. Emergency rooms, airports, supermarkets and gas stations are doing a booming business. And so are the people who look after our companion animals while we go on vacation.

Old-Fashioned Gobblers Are Back on Holiday Tables
Although most Americans will have a white broad-breasted turkey for dinner on Thanksgiving, some will partake in another bird that is making a comeback -- the heritage turkey. Several California family farmers are raising these original breeds of domestic turkeys, which differ from the commercial turkey in taste, size and behavior.
