Remain in Mexico Program Slows Down
Under President Trump’s Migrant Protection Protocols, border officials recently began sending asylum seekers back to Tijuana. The plan, known as Remain in Mexico, was expected to expand last week, but then U.S. officials seemed to slow it down. In Ciudad Juarez, across from El Paso, some are waiting with worry and frustration.

How Would a New PG&E Board Help the Company?
Former state treasurer and 2006 candidate for governor Phil Angelides is a candidate once again. This time, he's seeking a spot on PG&E's board of directors. He's been nominated, along with 12 others, by the New York hedge fund Blue Mountain Capital Management, a PG&E shareholder that tried to stop the embattled utility from entering into bankruptcy protection. That clearly didn't work. And on Friday, Blue Mountain Capital named a slate of people it says should replace PG&E's entire board.
