KQED’s local news podcast The Bay is looking forward to 2019, and we want to do it with you!

The Bay podcast team is working on an episode for the new year all about resolutions for the Bay Area. You know, 2018 was a lot! We’ve been through fires, an election, new housing policies and way more. And we want to hear how 2018 is (or isn’t) altering your life in 2019.

What New Year’s resolutions are you making for the Bay Area for 2019?

We’ve listed a couple questions to help get you thinking. Choose one and leave us a message at 415-553-2273 to tell us about your answer. (Make sure to say your name and what city you’re calling from.) We may play your message on our future episode.

Thanks,
Devin, Erika + Vinnee

  • What compromise(s) did you have to make in 2018 in order to stay living in the Bay Area in 2019?

  • How has #MeToo changed your relationships or how you approach life in the Bay Area? (Ex. There are more and more women’s only workspaces popping up. Are you choosing to work from one in 2019?)

  • A lot happened in Bay Area transit in 2018. Scooters appeared on city streets, San Francisco’s Transit Center opened with a celebration and then suddenly shut down. Bay Area congestion continued to be the worst… So, what decisions have you had to make related to your transit strategy for 2019?

  • Or, what resolution or change are you making in 2019 that’s related to how we live our lives here in the Bay Area?
