'Cover the Important Bits': Alameda Schools Change Their Dress Code

Midriffs, pajamas, and ball caps are all allowed this year at Alameda schools. A group of middle school students worked for three years to change a dress code that they say unfairly targeted girls. Now, decisions on what boys and girls can and cannot wear will mostly be left to students and their parents instead of school staff.
