Plan to Bring Water to San Joaquin River Opposed By Central Valley Farmers
State officials will vote on a plan next month to put more water into the San Joaquin River, in an effort to restore it. But farmers in the Central Valley are crying foul. Republican Congressman Jeff Denham has introduced an amendment to a federal bill that would prevent the move.
