In recent years, California's rate of teenage pregnancy has fallen to an all-time low. But there's an exception. Young women who grow up in foster care are much more likely to become pregnant in their teens -- nearly half will have at least one pregnancy before they age out of the system at 19.

Support for this report came from the California Endowment and USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
