Kings Move Still in Doubt
The NBA tea leaves increasingly suggest at least one more season for the Sacramento Kings. The only major professional sports team the city has ever had looked as good as gone earlier this month. But many credit the full-court press led by Sacramento Mayor and former basketball star Kevin Johnson.

Remembering 'Googie' Architect Eldon Davis
Influential architect Eldon Davis' space age designs of roadside restaurants in the 1950s helped define a movement known as Coffee Shop Modern. Davis died recently at age 94. Los Angeles Bureau Chief Krissy Clark has a tribute to him, and the building style called "Googie."
