Ornament Exchange Game
Holiday parties are part of this season and for California Report Senior Producer Ingrid Becker, there's one holiday gathering she wouldn't dare miss -- an annual tradition known as the "aunties" ornament exchange.

Central Valley Armenians Enjoy Holiday Pudding
Every holiday season Armenian-Americans celebrate the bounty of the year by eating a festive pudding made with some signature California-grown ingredients. Our Central Valley Bureau Chief Sasha Khokha got a chance to watch the delicacy simmering on one family's stove in Fresno, home to one of the state's largest Armenian communities.

Filipino-Americans Celebrate With Traditional Lanterns
During the Christmas season, many Filipino-American homes display colorful star shaped lanterns called parols. Parols have a long history in the Philippines, but the holiday symbol isn't so well known in California. Alameda's Lighted Christmas Tree Lane Sparkles
It can take a lot of time -- and money -- to decorate your house with Christmas lights and other ornaments. But if you live on Thompson Avenue in Alameda, you don't have much choice in the matter. Since 1938 residents of that block-long street have taken Christmas decorations to a whole new level. The tradition runs so deep that the quaint, middle class street is commonly known as Christmas Tree Lane.
