Joining the usual high schools, civic groups, and other sponsors at Pasadena's annual Tournament of Roses Parade is a Sikh-American float. The float design includes giant peaches; the country's largest peach grower is Sikh, and a locomotive to honor Sikhs who worked on the first railroads in the Pacific Northwest. The centerpiece will be a replica of the Sikh temple in Stockton, built in 1912.
