Tuition hikes and executive salaries were among the topics at the UC Regents meeting in San Francisco Thursday. The regents plan to raise tuition by a little more than $3,000 over the next five years if the state doesn't pony up more money. The regents also voted on a new executive vice president and two senior managers with starting salaries around $300,000 a year.
