The Rocky Fire in Northern California's Lake County is now about 50 percent contained. Hundreds of people who were forced to evacuate will be given the green light to go home Friday, but about 12,000 people remain under evacuation orders or warnings. The fire has burned about 109 square miles. That means there's a lot of smoke, which has been affecting residents in surrounding Mendocino, Yolo and Colusa counties.
