Students in the Los Angeles Unified School District are returning to class Wednesday after a district-wide shutdown on Tuesday, prompted by an emailed threat of widespread violence. The FBI now says the threat was not credible and district officials have declared the schools safe after a thorough search of every building. Some say the district overreacted, but others say it's better to be safe than sorry.
