UPDATE: The day after this cartoon was published, the CDC informed Gerry and Mario of their test results. Gerry tested positive for coronavirus, Mario tested negative. Gerry who is not showing any symptoms was moved to another site for monitoring and told she would be sent home in a few days to self-quarantine. The CDC initially told Mario he must begin another 14-day quarantine at Travis AFB but then sent him home immediately (short of his completing his initial 14-day quarantine period) via ambulance to self-quarantine.

I watched with fascination as the Grand Princess cruise ship, with at least 21 people infected with the coronavirus, docked in Oakland on March 9.

Then I found out my neighbors (who also offer five tips for living in quarantine) were on the ship.
