Measles Outbreak Prompts L.A. Universities to Quarantine Students

In Los Angeles, students at UCLA and Cal State LA are being asked to stay home if they can’t prove they’ve gotten the measles vaccine. Officials say hundreds on both campuses may have been exposed. Meanwhile, state health officials are urging all Californians, especially those planning to travel abroad, to make sure they’re vaccinated. Thirty-eight people have been infected with measles in California so far this year.
