NASA Probe Snaps First Photo of 'Snowman' Rock at Edge of Solar System
NASA scientists, including some at Mountain View's NASA Ames Research Center, kicked off the new year with a fly-by of a snowman-shaped space object near Pluto. A photo of the space rock, dubbed Ultima Thule, was taken by the New Horizons probe.
