President Donald Trump has made it clear he wants to crack down on illegal immigration and increase deportations.

But what happens after someone is deported? What is their life like the day after they leave the country they’ve lived in for years?

KQED’s Farida Jhabvala Romero visited a migrant shelter in Tijuana to hear from recent deportees, and she talked about her visit with California Report Magazine host Sasha Khokha.
