Voting is easy, just be glad you're not the one who has to count the votes.

California has some unique rules and ways of tallying votes that may delay or complicate the outcome of Tuesday's primary election.

San Francisco's mayoral race will be decided by ranked choice voting, which means if no single candidate gets over 50 percent during the first round of counting, we may not know results until Wednesday at the earliest and possibly not until the weekend.

Congressional races will be decided using the top-two method of tallying votes that could produce some interesting results, particularly in Southern California.
