Election Day is Tuesday, and California's "top-two" primary system may cause problems for Democrats trying to regain control of the House.

Even though they have lots of enthusiasm and plenty of people running for office, the sheer number of Democratic candidates may undermine their chance of securing the top two slots required to move onto the November ballot.

With Democratic support diluted among numerous candidates, Republican candidates in some key districts may find themselves at the top of the heap.
