To mark the broadcast premiere of PBS’ "The Vietnam War," a 10-part documentary series on Sunday, Sept. 17, we’d like to hear from Californians about how this monumental conflict impacted their lives.

If you're a veteran who served (or a conscientious objector who didn’t), a refugee who fled, an activist who marched, an artist who created art around the conflict, an everyday person who became involved in politics because of it -- or have seen you or your family's lives otherwise affected by the conflict that tore the country apart -- we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for all stories about the war and its impact, and you can share your own, or as a group (a family, or with a friend). We’d also like to know if you have photos of yourself from that era -- be it in uniform, at a protest, as a refugee and more.

Share your story here.
