The U.S. Supreme Court ended its latest term in typically dramatic fashion, taking action on a range of hot-button issues, including President Trump's travel ban, the rights of detained immigrants, religious liberties vs. LGBT rights and gun control.

KQED's Senior Editor for California Politics and Government Scott Shafer hosted a half-hour special on KQED Radio to analyze the court's moves, including the influence of the newest justice, Neil Gorsuch.

Joining the conversation: KQED politics reporter Marisa Lagos and UC Hastings College of the Law professor Rory Little.
