Governor Schwarzenegger has apparently backed off plans to close as many as 100 state parks. His office said yesterday that that there was no timeline for a list of park closures -- and that the governor has directed the state Department of Finance to find other cuts in the state parks budget. But parks supporters remain skeptical.
