Many are aghast when they hear that Alan Lessik's partner took his own life in the home where they both lived, saying it was an insensitive gesture to the living. But Lessik questions this line of thinking. "If I said he died at home of terminal cancer, most people would respond, 'How wonderful that he died where he was loved and comfortable'" he says.
