The U.S. Supreme Court will decide next summer whether a university sanctioned, student-run Christian group at UC Hastings can exclude gays, lesbians and non-Christians. The school prohibits student groups from excluding members based on their sexual orientation, race or beliefs. In response, the Christian activists say their constitutional rights are violated if they are forced to accept members whose beliefs run counter to their ideals.
