“Giving money and power to government is like giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys.” So quips humorist P.J. O’Rourke, who often infuses political commentary with his trademark humor. The former managing editor of National Lampoon magazine and frequent panelist on NPR’s quiz show “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” has released a new collection titled “Thrown Under the Omnibus.” O’Rourke joins us in studio to discuss comedy, politics and everything in between.

Guests:

P.J. O'Rourke, author of "Thrown Under the Omnibus" and of fourteen previous books, including "Parliament of Whores," "Give War a Chance," and "Eat the Rich"
