Local writer T. Geronimo Johnson’s new novel “Welcome to Braggsville” explores issues of race in America and what it means to come home again. Using irony, humor and lyrical language, Johnson traces the journey of four liberal UC Berkeley undergrads from California to Georgia. The Washington Post calls the book “the most dazzling, most unsettling, most oh-my-God-listen-up novel you’ll read this year.”

Guests:

T. Geronimo Johnson, author of "Welcome to Braggsville" and the novel "Hold It 'Til It Hurts," a finalist for the 2013 PEN/Faulkner Award for fiction
