U.S. and Europe Agree to More Sanctions on Russia

International police attempting to investigate the Malaysian Airlines crash site on Monday were forced for a second day to retreat in the face of fierce fighting between pro-Russian rebels and Ukraine's military. The United States and Europe on Monday agreed to further sanctions against Russia amid concerns that Russia continues to ship weapons into Ukraine.
