Once a bustling Navy refueling station, Richmond's Point Molate is now a potential site for a Las Vegas-style casino to be managed by the Guidiville Band of Pomo Indians. Local opposition to the plan is strong, with nearly 58 percent of voters voting "No" on Measure U last November -- a non-binding measure that asked residents whether they supported the plan. Next week, the Richmond City Council will hold a public hearing on the issue, which could end the Environmental Review phase in the project's development. We hear from both sides of the debate.
