What was the most important story in your community or neighborhood in 2010? News is a subjective business. One person’s front page story is another person’s afterthought. Locally, this year had no shortage of headline-worthy events: the Giants won a World Series, San Bruno suffered a major disaster, and a record amount of money was spent on the election, to name a few. But what was the year’s most memorable story from where you sit? What story, event or issue had the most impact on your life and on your community, however you define it? We’ll also tell you how you can join our new Public Insight Network to help inform KQED reporters and editors.

Guests:

Joaquin Alvarado, senior vice president for digital innovation at American Public Media

Amanda Stupi, public insight editor for KQED Public Radio
