Bay Area Counties Impose Stay-At-Home Order in Advance of State Plan

On Sunday, several Bay Area counties, including San Francisco, Santa Clara, and Contra Costa, imposed stay-at-home orders, deciding not to wait for the state to issue its regional order. Alameda County’s order goes into effect Monday, and Marin County’s stay-at-home order begins Tuesday. We’ll talk about what you can and cannot do under the order and why the counties felt they could not wait for the state.
