On Friday, Forum’s Mina Kim interviewed journalist Pendarvis Harshaw and producer Ashleyanne Krigbaum. They produce KQED’s newest podcast, Rightnowish. It’s an arts and culture conversation show about what people are experiencing in the Bay Area right now… ish. The show is centered in Oakland, but goes further outside the bullseye to find the stories of artists and activists that can inspire all of us. They want to create a dent in the documentation of what’s happening with culture centered here in the Bay Area. Today, Forum presents the first episode of Rightnowish. To hear more search for Rightnowish in any podcast player or you can visit our website at https://www.kqed.org/podcasts/rightnowish
