As part of our Election 2018 coverage, we meet U.S. Senate candidate Kevin de León, who hopes to beat incumbent Dianne Feinstein on November 6th. As a senator in the California Legislature, de León authored the sanctuary state bill and set a goal for California to use 50 percent renewable energy by 2030. If elected to the U.S. Senate, he promises to back Medicare for all and reform immigration policy.
