The $2.16 billion Salesforce Transit Center opens to the public this weekend in downtown San Francisco, along with its five-acre rooftop park. Buses from AC Transit and other agencies will use the center, but roadblocks remain for BART, CalTrain, and California high-speed rail. In this segment, Forum discusses how the center might change public transit in the region and gets a funding update on the second phase of the project. We’ll also hear about the center’s 5-acre rooftop park. Tell us: What do you think of how the building turned out? Does the final product justify the cost?
