British artist John Akomfrah joins Forum to discuss his cinematic video installation “Vertigo Sea.” The work uses documentary film, literary texts and new footage in a meditation on the whaling industry, the slave trade and the current migrant crisis. The work, first seen at the 2015 Venice Biennale, premieres in the U.S. on March 3 at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
