Psychedelics Conference

at 9:00 AM

"Turn on, tune in, drop out." That's what Timothy Leary once famously said about psychedelic drugs. Now, researchers are investigating their potential for treating depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders, and for helping people cope at the end of life. Will psychedelics move from the dance clubs to the doctor's office?

Guests:

Charles Grob, professor of psychiatry at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, professor at UCLA Medical School and member of the Heffter Research Institute's board of directors

Rick Doblin, executive director of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies

David Spiegel, professor of psychiatry and behavioral science at the Stanford University School of Medicine

Tracy Foose, co-chief of the Anxiety Disorders Program and assistant director of the Adult Psychiatry Clinic at Langley Porter Hospitals and Clinic at UCSF
