Best known in the U.S. for the historical dramas “The Emigrants” and “The New Land,” Swedish filmmaker Jan Troell is a major figure in international cinema. His latest film, “Everlasting Moments,” is based on the true story of a relative of his wife’s. We welcome Jan Troell and his wife, writer and journalist Agneta Ulfsater-Troell, to the studio for a conversation about his films and their collaboration. You can see Troell’s films through March 6 at the Rafael Film Center. “Everlasting Moments” also screens on Thursday, March 4 at the Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley.
