A number of foreign embassies in Yemen have closed temporarily after threats from a regional wing of al-Qaida. The country, already struggling with a rebellion in the north and separatist movement in the south, sees al-Qaida as a lesser priority. Now, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says the Yemeni government has to take measures to restore stability, or risk losing Western support.
