Every Monday, the KQED Arts blog features a new Video of the Week to start the work week off right.
Remember way back when Tom Hanks wasn't resigned to starring alongside volleyballs or in lame adaptations of Dan Brown novels? There was Bosom Buddies as well as his touching turn in Philadelphia as a lawyer with AIDS. And then there's Big, the story of a young boy who, for some reason, wishes to be middle-aged and gets his wish. There's a scene in that movie in which Hanks plays a giant piano in FAO Schwartz and that very piano is making a cultural comeback. In this video, two girls run up and down the giant keys to rock out a rendition of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor and prove to be more impressive than Hanks has been in years.
If you have any crazy sexy cool videos of your own, share them with us and we'll consider them for future installments of Video of the Week!
