Ford has issued a hybrid throw down to Toyota. A lot of attention went into winning this battle. Design improvements such as a bigger rear window, more head room and cargo space. The car supposedly has better fuel economy and more horsepower.

I had a chance to test drive the C-Max recently and immidiately found several things
THe Ford C-Max Hybrid received an EPA-certified fuel efficiency rating of 47 mpg in the city and on the highway. This bests the Prius V by 5mpg, combined.
Ford also bests the Toyota Prius v on the MSRP with a base price of $25,995, including destination and delivery charges.
