Do you ever find yourself wishing you could live inside your favorite TV show? For me, the answer is a resounding "BEYOND!" My love for Gilmore Girls has inspired me to travel nearly 400 miles to visit the Warner Bros. lot and nearly 2,000 miles to watch the cast reunite in Austin, TX. And it's looking like I'll be making a nearly 3,000 mile trek to Washington Depot, CT this October.

Two fans, Jennie and Marcus Whitaker, are staging "a festival started by fans, for fans," which aims to recreate the essence of Stars Hollow in the quaint New England town that inspired Amy Sherman-Palladino to create the show. And they are taking the event very seriously. There will be a town troubadour (how could there not be?), screenings of the pilot, finale and most popular episodes (basically any day of the week at my apartment), a food truck spin on Friday Night Dinner (Emily would drop dead at the thought), town meetings (obviously), cake tasting ("with a crunch and a zing and a hm hm hm hm, hello!") and more!

If you're a Gilmore Girls fan, this is enough information to convince you to buy your ticket now. This will be us in the Hartford airport:
