Friends are good to have. Good friends are better to have. If you have a best friend at your new school, it is the best to have. Friends support you, they comfort you, and make you feel better when you feel bad. My friend Nahrie has helped me in my new middle school. She has been a good friend to me for almost four years.

Nahrie has all the qualities of a good friend. She is loyal, trustworthy, pleasant, fun to be with, and respectful. She also helps me remember important things that I have to do that day. I am a good friend to her because I remind her of things she forgets, include her in discussions I have, and I trust her to not tell my secrets when I tell her them. I also am respectful, fun to be around, kind, and loyal.

Nahrie helps me do my homework at lunch or recess if I didn't do it the night before. She tells me my homework assignments if I miss a day and tells me what happened in class that day. That is how she is loyal and helpful to me. Without her being my best friend, I would be the same but different. I wouldn't be able to trust people like I trust her. She has helped me grow as a person because she helped me to trust people. If she wasn't my friend for all these years, I wouldn't be able to trust people to keep secrets I have told them.

Good friends are necessary when you go to a new school, or any school. Best friends are important in your social and academic life because they will always be there to help you.

With a Perspective, I'm Ta'Jae.
