Something tells me the America's Cup is trying to broaden its demographic appeal with the posting of this video pretty much celebrating the capsizing of an Oracle-team practice catamaran on the Bay yesterday.

You know what they say: People only watch sailing for the crashes anyway...

KGO also has a video report on yesterday's event. Oracle Racing CEO Russsell Couts, talking about plans to build a large TV audience, says the America's Cup is "like NASCAR on steroids on the water."
