Yes, we're in a drought. Yes, we can expect a long, dry summer and fall with mandatory water restrictions. You can come up with your own list of troubles present and impending.

But today -- as 9:57 a.m. PDT, the time of this year's March <a href="equinox -- it's spring. So for one day anyway, let's let the sun trace its even path through the sky and embrace the scene around us, whatever it is.
