On Monday night, Sacramento police arrested 84 people who were protesting the district attorney's decision not to charge police officers who shot and killed Stephon Clark.

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced on Tuesday that the state would not file criminal charges against Sacramento police officers Terrence Mercadal and Jared Robinet.

Stephon Clark, a 22-year-old black man, was unarmed and in his grandmother's backyard when he was fatally shot by officers last March.
